What size dumpster is right for you?
15-yard
If you have a construction job for a small business or if you have a small home renovation, this size would be best for you! It is small enough to fit in most driveways but can handle large amounts of debris.
20-yard
Our 20-yard dumpster is great for slightly larger jobs. If you are still working with a small business, landscaping, or home renovation but have a larger driveway, this size would work for you! It can hold more debris and can handle more weight.
30-yard
The 30-yard dumpster is perfect for larger construction jobs. This size is great for building reconstruction/demolishment or large landscaping.
40-yard
The largest size we offer is our 40-yard dumpster. This size is the best for complete home renovation or complete building demolishment. This size can hold the most waste and weight.

Decide on your dumpster size and make the call
Choose from our 15-yard, 20-yard, 30-yard, or 40-yard dumpster. If you’re not sure which one you need, refer to our size chart above or give us a call to one of our customer service representatives.
Dumpster delivery
After the appointment is made, we deliver the dumpster to your location. Also, we have our own delivery trucks so you don’t need to move the dumpster at all. We bring it straight to you!
Pick up
When your dumpster is full, we take care of pick up. Please do not move the dumpster! We will move and dump it for you. Red Line Dumpsters will remove the trash in a responsible manner.
What Not to do When Renting a Dumpster
When renting a dumpster, there are several important things to keep in mind. Here are some helpful not to do’s with a dumpster:
- It is best not overfill your dumpster because our delivery trucks must be able to cover the top of the dumpster when it is time for pick up. This is important because it keeps you and our driver safe on the road, and our community cleaner. We try our best to keep fly away trash in the dumpster.
- Do not try and move your dumpster! When the delivery trucks place the dumpster, they carefully place it onto the concrete. Moving the dumpster can cause unnecessary damage to your concrete. Our delivery guys work extra hard to put the dumpster down safely and gently.
- Yes the dumpster is made for waste, but not for everything. For instance, keep dangerous items like flammables, explosives, oils, batteries, televisions, mattresses, or anything that could harm someone or our dumpster out. Once the dumpster is full and is picked up from your location, it is brought to a waste facility and sorted responsibly. Hazardous waste is brought to a separate facility and will be charged at a different price than normal trash.
- Certainly keep weight in mind when filling the dumpster. Every size dumpster has a different weight limit. There is a charge per ton over the weight limit.

Location for your dumpster
Having a clear space on concrete or a hard surface for your roll off dumpster is extremely important. Before choosing the size of your dumpster, make sure you measure your driveway or work area so that you know you're renting an appropriate size dumpster for your job site. Make sure your spot has a clear pathway large enough for our trucks to properly place the dumpster down for you.
Make it a danger zone
When renting a dumpster it can create a danger zone. Make sure small kids and pets stay away from the dumpster at all times. Small children and pets could climb into the dumpster and get stuck inside. It is also important to keep others not working on the job site or on the property to stay away from the dumpster. While renting the dumpster, you are responsible for it. Make sure unwanted people are not doing damage to the dumpster.
Do not overload your dumpster and watch your weight of the dumpster
Over loading your dumpster can be an easy thing to do, so it is important to watch out for the fill line. It can also become a safety issue if filled above the fill line. Once the dumpster truck picks it up, the trash could fly away in the streets if the dumpster is past the fill line. Each dumpster also has a weight limit. Over filling the dumpster can lead to unwanted fees.
Portable Toilets
Rentable portable toilets are great for both commercial projects or private events! If you have a group of people for a construction job, private event, or are curating a public event like a festival, portable toilets are a necessity. We offer standard size and handicap accessible portable toilets. Each includes a freshly cleaned toilet and two rolls of toilet paper. All portable toilets have a door, with lock, and a natural light roof.
How many portable toilets do I need?
It is important to have enough portable toilets for your crowd. The common estimation for a standard portable toilet is up to about 60 people for a day without needing to be cleaned. If the toilets you are renting need to be cleaned before the pick up date, give us a call!
